Everything they say about the Grotta here is true. The Lianou family are kind and considerate people - they were especially welcoming to my 2 yrs son. The hotel is ideally situated to explore the charming town of Naxos - getting around the Island is easy if you rent a car, there the hotel management will help you. The view ower the sea and the famous gate of Naxos is absolutely spectacular. This is not an expensive hotel, we payed 55 eur for our room, but it is one of the nicest and most welcoming I´ve ever been to. So if you read this, Dmitri and Nikolleta, thank you - I am certain we will return!

I stayed at Hotel Grotta with my husband and another couple during a Greek Island holiday. The hotel is very reasonably priced. We had 2 rooms next to each other with fantastic views and beautiful sunsets. Every member of the family was very welcoming and informative. They also offer a free shuttle service. The hotel is in a quiet area but only a short walk from the main restaurants and shops of the town. It was such a joy to have a fresh, filling breakfast every morning included in the room price after paying exorbitant prices at other hotels for food which was stale and uninteresting. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Naxos.

This is a very lovely hotel, located just a short walk from town, with spectacular views of the sea, through the Temple of Apollo. Rooms are spotless, the best breakfast we had in all of Greece, especially the figs from the family garden. The Lianos family was gracious, welcoming us with drinks, pictures, maps and suggestions of places to visit on the island, and happily attended to every request. Highly recommended.
