MARAGAS CAMPING - THE TAVERN

In front of Maragas Camping is Manolis Tavern. This big tavern is very old. It started in 1973 (!) and although modernized is still managed by the same family. It is situated directly on the beach.

The tavern (restaurant) is well known for its excellent kitchen. It specializes in traditional Greek dishes. The meat and vegetables are produced on the island and there is fresh fish every day. It is possible to drink “Naxos”-wine and tap-beer.

There is a special pizza-oven and a big grill in the evening. The portions are more than generous and there is food for every taste (also vegetarian) and wallet.

The tavern opens for breakfast at 08.00 in the morning and closes when the last customers have left.

There is also possibility of take away!
